Frequently Asked Questions

How much does screen repair cost?

Screen repair starts at $35 per screen, which includes labor and materials. Most standard window and door screens fall in this range. Larger or specialty screens may cost more depending on size and mesh type.

How long does it take to repair screens?

Small jobs with a few screens are typically done on-site the same day. For larger batches (10 or more), we take the screens to our shop, repair them, and deliver and reinstall them within a few days.

Can you repair screens that are bent or have damaged frames?

Minor frame bends can often be straightened during the repair. Frames that are cracked, corroded, or severely bent may need full replacement. We’ll let you know which approach makes sense before starting.

Can you upgrade my screens to pet-resistant mesh?

We offer pet-resistant screen mesh that’s significantly stronger than standard fiberglass. It withstands clawing and pushing from dogs and cats without tearing. Let us know during scheduling and we’ll bring the right material.

Should I repair or replace old screens?

If the frame is in good shape, rescreening is significantly cheaper than buying new. We rescreen the existing frame with fresh mesh and new spline. Replacement is only necessary when frames are damaged beyond repair.
